Easton Hunger Coalition
Their goal is to reduce hunger in Easton by coordinating food donations to local organizations that provide food for those in need. They also organize gleaning efforts, by which extra food from farmers is delivered to a food pantry or others in need of it.

Lehigh Valley Food Policy Council
Their goal is to reduce food insecurity in Lehigh Valley by 50% by 2022 by redistributing food to those in need.

Food Recovery Network:
Their goal is to redistribute leftover food from college campuses to those in the community facing food insecurity. The network consists of 219 chapters in 44 states, which cumulatively have recovered over 1.9 million pounds of food.

Local composting efforts:
A local pilot composting program involving Easton’s Two Rivers Brewing, 3rd & Ferry Fish Market, Easton Area Community Center, and Easton St. Vincent De Paul Society Food Pantry. The organizations are funded by the USEPA to commit to composting their food waste.
