What is Environmental Justice?

EJ is essentially the aim of equally distributing environmental goods and bads, specifically in relation to communities marginalized based on race, socio-economic status, education levels, etc. Food justice is a subset of EJ that examines the distribution of these goods and bads as they concern issues like food access, food security, food waste, and food sovereignty.
