With the new year I decided to undertake a new project: Picture a Day. The goal is to take one photograph a day and then publish them to a public repository — in my case that’s Flickr and Facebook.
I have to admit I’ve been a little hit or miss in my photo taking — I started the project on Christmas Day and have only taken 18 pictures since then. Given that it’s currently January 24, that puts me about 12 pictures off the pace … but I am trying. More importantly, I have taken a bunch more pictures — both with my phone and the D60 — than I have in the previous three months.
As with most things, the challenge is getting into a routine. I’m still working on that, but hopefully things will start clicking now that the spring semester is underway.
