mccall.com: Former IronPig Andy Tracy goes from player to manager

Andy Tracy was a staple of the early IronPigs seasons, playing 1st base until 2010. He became a free agent after that, having been released to make room for a player moving up from the Reading Phils. After a few more years spent playing minor league ball, the wear-and-tear of the game finally caught up with him. Now he’s made the jump from player to manager, having taken over manger duties with the Williamsport Crosscutters.

The Morning Call has a nice story covering his recent career, and his move into management. It’s a great read for anyone who wondered what happened to the former fan favorite first basemen.
