Dr. Derek Schilling of Rutgers University will be presenting “On the Class Character of Desire: Romantic Heroics in French New Wave Cinematographer Eric Rohmer’s Moral Tale.” He will be speaking on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 4:15pm in the Gendebien Room in Skillman Library. Everybody is invited!

2nd Undergraduate Research Conference in German Studies Saturday, March 24th
You are cordially invited to attend all or part of the 2nd UNDERGRADUATE
RESEARCH CONFERENCE IN GERMAN STUDIES that will be held in our Max Kade Center for German Studies (Pardee 429) this coming Saturday, 3/24. We are looking forward to welcoming 22 students from ten different colleges and universities (from as far away as UT Austin), and Prof. Greg Eghigian from Penn State who will deliver the keynote address (in English) after lunch (12:45 to 1:30 PM). McKelvy Film Evening
Next Saturday at 5:00pm McKelvy and German Club will be showing a film called “Im Juli.” This film will be shown in German with English subtitles. All are welcome to come!
