I prefer biology as a science in school because I’m a scientist! My dream is to be a psychologist because I want to help people in Madagascar to manage their feelings. Sometimes people can be lost and can’t bear life in the face of failure. For me, I think can resonate with me at times. Therefore, I think that becoming a psychologist will not only allow me how to help people but also to help myself. Unfortunately in my country not everyone has the ability to have a personal psychologist and I think this is wrong. Everyone has the right to both physical and mental health. Now, if only I can study in the U.S. to become the best psychologist in Madagascar!

In general, I am a shy girl and many people say this. I am sixteen years old and I study at Andohalo High School. I have two brothers, one is twenty years old and the other is ten years old. I love playing the piano and also singing. My favorite activities to do in my spare time are watching TV and reading books. My dream is to become a surgeon because I love both biology and helping people.

My name is Angela Rabarison. I’m a student at Lycee Andohalo. I’m in terminal scientifique “c.” I prefer eating meals that have fish and any dessert that has chocolate. My favorite color is green because it signifies the emotion of “jealousy.” In my free time, I like listening to classical music and R&B too. When it comes to sports, I like watching basketball and soccer as well as playing volleyball. When I am not studying at school, I am at home with my family. At home, I enjoy cooking and tidying up the house. I’m a talkative person at home but if there are new people around, my shy side comes out and I become very quiet and red in the face.

My name is Henitra Claudine Rasoarivola. One thing that you should know about me is that I am not a talkative person. I used to be but when I noticed that nobody was listening to me, I became more reserved. However, that doesn’t prevent me from being kind and friendly. Two things that I enjoy doing a lot of are eating and sleeping. Although this makes me look gluttonous and lazy, I do other things like read books, but only as long as they are interesting. Something else that I enjoy doing is singing. However, my voice isn’t very good so I hum when I’m around other people. I also like dancing even though my body doesn’t move around well. This is also the reason why I am not very good at playing sports. I know that sports are a good way to stay fit but I still don’t enjoy playing any. I think walking is good enough for me. Another thing about me that you should know is that I am not very good at explaining things. There are things that I understand in my head but they are difficult for me to explain to others. This may be one reason why people think I am peculiar. I do feel weird sometimes but doesn’t everybody! There are times that I laugh so loudly that everybody’s heads will turn towards me. They probably think that I am crazy. This could also be due to the fact that when somebody asks me a question, I usually answer it like it is an exam question or as if I am speaking to a superintendent. However, something good about me is that I get very excited and happy when something good happens to me. Finally, you should also know that I am pretty funny. Although I don’t know why people think I am funny, I don’t mind it because I enjoy making people laugh. I think of it as my way to give thanks to people for the love they give me. I extol my friends and family for loving me so much and I hope I can also give them thanks by trying as hard a I can for a bright future!

I’m a girl who is sixteen years old. I study in Andohalo now and am one of the LIME students. I’m not only slim but also short. I’ve got long black hair and I always wear trousers and a T-shirt. My favorite hobbies are watching TV and listening to music.

My name is Oceane and I am a serious but smily girl. I may be shy sometimes, but it doesn’t stop me from being friendly with others. My favorite hobby is drawing. Many of my drawings are translations of stories that I narrate in my imagination. The rest of my hobbies include playing piano, sewing, and playing games like basketball. When it comes to people, I like those that are friendly and honest. My favorite meal is pasta and my favorite animal is the dog. At home, I live with my mother, my sister, and my aunt.

My name is Anjara. I am 16 years old. I live with my parents and I have one sister and brother. My favorite hobby is listening to the radio. I like all school subjects. I am a tall girl. I have dark and long hair. I like wearing trousers. I am kind. I am very shy, but really friendly. I dislike hypocritical people.

I am 18 years old. I was born on the 4th of September 1999. I am in the 12th grade. My favorite subject is English because it’s a useful language. I would like to be a psychologist because I love helping people. I love music especially jazz music. I play piano. I love dancing, swimming, reading, and playing the piano in my free time. For me, going to the USA was a dream before but now I know that I can go there if I work hard. I would like to thank the LIME mentors because it was so neat to work with them.
