Deanna Hanchuk

Hi friends! My name is Deanna Hanchuk and I’m super excited to be on the LIME team this year. A few facts about me: I’m from New Jersey, I am a Chemical Engineering and International Studies Dual Degree candidate, and am pretty involved on Lafayette’s campus. Outside of LIME, I love designing for the Lafayette school newspaper, giving tours as a tour guide for our school, marketing for both Student Government and the Marquis Scholars and Fellows, and working in our school’s archives! I’m also very involved with my Ukrainian heritage, love to dance, and am absolutely addicted to chocolate. Can’t wait to meet all the students in January! 🙂 

Monica Rizk

My name is Monica Rizk and I am a sophomore from New York City. I am studying International Affairs, Anthropology & Sociology, and 
Women and Gender studies. I hope to use my education in a career to fight against human trafficking. Aside from LIME, I am involved in social justice groups, am an admissions intern, and work at a daycare. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, listening to music, and watching crime series’.

“My name is Devin On and I am a second-year English/Economics major. I have lived in New York City all of my life before moving to Pennsylvania to begin my career at Lafayette College. I play football at Lafayette and am motivated to help others in any way I can. My motto in life is to Trust the Process.” 

Lauren Phillips-Jackson

Major: Anthropology and Sociology
 
My name is Lauren Phillips-Jackson and I am a junior from Amherst, Massachusetts. I am pursuing a degree in Anthropology and Sociology, and I’m interested in a career in environmental justice after college. Aside from LIME, I’m involved with sustainable food and farms on campus, as well as numerous social justice groups and refugee resettlement work. I also always love cooking and trying out new recipes! 
 

Alex Ashley

My name is Alex Ashley and I am a chemical engineering and mathematics double major. I am from Jamaica and I love basketball. My philosophy in life is the least of effort is greater than the greatest of intentions.

Anna DeVault

Major: Biology (minor in French!)

Hometown: Easton, PA
My name is Anna DeVault and I am a third-year biology major (with a minor in French, alors je parle un peu français). Outside of LIME, I am on the budget committee for Lafayette’s Student Government and I work with the Center for the Integration of Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship to make teaching practices more inclusive on Lafayette’s campus. I also work at an outdoors shop here in Easton and I love being active outside!

 

Antoine Amblard

Major: Mechanical Engineering

From: London, England

My name is Antoine Amblard and I am a third-year Mechanical Engineering student. I was born and raised in London by a French dad and an Italian mom (donc je parle aussi Français). Outside of academics, I love soccer, both playing and watching it.
