The college I attended actually had a big piece of farm land and they would rent out plots of the land to students to grow their own food. It’s really a great idea. It was in a tropical climate, so growing all year round was no problem. It’s cool to see schools and communities with their own garden. There’s a lot to be learned from gardening.
