Lalaina

My name is Tiana Lalaina Andriamanpisoa and I am 17 years old. I have three siblings: one older sister, one older brother, and one younger brother.  I can speak Malagasy and French fluently.  I am a first year student at the University of Antananarivo where I am studying biology. My two favorite colors are black and purple.  Some of my favorite hobbies include learning English, eating good food, and dancing.  One of my big dreams is to study in America one day.

Narindra

My surname is ANDRIEOAMAMPIANINA which derives from the names of my two grandfathers: RAMIANDRISOA and RAKOTOMAMPIANINA.  My first name is Narindra.  I have another first name which is Joelle. My family call me Joh or Joe.  I was born in April 1999 so now I am sixteen.  I am a bit little, about 5 feet, and I just got a haircut.  My shoe size is 38 in case you’re going to offer me some shoes.  As passions, I have three favorite ones.  The first one is English.  I like studying this language, and I enjoy being a member of some English clubs such as LIME, Ted Ed Club, and ICE Madagascar.  The way English speakers speak in English impresses me.  That’s why I decided to learn this language.  By this way, I can also improve my future with a scholarship which will help me to study in the US.  The second one is spending time with my family and friends, especially during family meetings and parties. My last passion is writing my autobiography everyday. I really like writing what happens everyday especially in English. Moreover, I can express my ideas about everything and when I don’t have anyone who can talk with me, my copybook and my pencils are always there for me. I am the kind of person who is very sensitive due to my illness when I was a kid. I had a heart problem because my family didn’t take care of me. In class, I always try to understand lessons and to do homework.  Then, when I don’t understand, I ask a lot of questions that the teacher becomes bothered with me sometimes. Although I had a heart problem, I always try to understand why people do that or when my friends talk about their problems to me, I always try to be in their place and bring solutions.  Other times, I behave like a baby when I think.  That’s why I sometimes fight with my boyfriend but I am growing up now.  Knowing ourselves is really helpful for us because not only it helps us to get more power in what we’re gonna do like when will we get sad, in which situation or what should we do when we are in front of problems, but also to avoid people telling you wrong characteristics that you don’t have.

Miangaly

My name is Faneva Miangaly RAZAKAMIADANA.  I am 17 years old and I am in twelfth grade. I am a Malagasy student from Antananarivo. I am able to speak English and I speak French and Malagasy fluently.  I love music and drawing in my freetime.  I really love listening to music because it makes me feel good.  It also helps me discover many new English words because I especially listen to English songs.  I really love all the Disney cartoons, too.  I have even went to Disneyland in Paris and it was a really good trip.  I love reading so much and have read many books. I usually read before going to bed.  I dream to go to the USA to continue my studying.

Landry

Being a member of LIME makes me feel different. They encourage me to step outside of my comfort zone. I am usually shy, but they made me realize there is no reason I should not be myself. With LIME, I can show who I am and what my purposes are in my life. My name is Landry. I am a LIME 4 student, and I am proud to be. I like taking care of some mechanical tools and I know it may be strange, but I also like taking care of sick people. I have dreamed to become an engineer and a doctor if is it possible to do both. I can be helpful but strict, and I like playing basketball. I love English, and I can’t wait to reach my pursuit to study in America 🙂

Tendry

My name is RANDRIANARIVO Tianariliva Tendry, I am 18 and I am LIME 4. I studied at Andohalo High School and now, I am getting my Baccalauriat degree. I would like to study mechanical engineering or environmental studies. I like eating, cooking, and playing basketball and football. I like watching movies too, and that is why I like speaking and hearing the English language because I prefer all movies, especially when they are in English.

Ianja

My name is Ianja Andriamanantena RAKOTOVAZAHA, I am in LIME 4. I am a Malagasy, and I will be describing my appearance, my weaknesses, strengths, and passions. I am an 18 year old boy, and I was born in November of 1997. I am tall, have short hair, and have brown skin. What makes me different from other Malagasy people is that I have big hands.  My weakness is that I am sensitive. I look like a strong muscular guy, but inside I have a fragile heart. I am also the kind of person who worries about the small things. I am mature too. That’s why sometimes I fight with my girlfriend, who doesn’t always understand me. Some of my strengths are that I like to help people, especially when I feel that they really need me. I am determined when it comes to my goals. I also like to give advice to those who come to me with their problems. I like to help others based off of the experiences that I have had.  Finally, I love learning! That’s why I am here. Life is always a lesson, you have to learn everyday. This is one of the reasons I learned how to draw, play music, play basketball, and one of the reasons why I’m learning. They are all my passions. These are just some of the things about me, I have much more to share but I hope that this will be enough for now.

Mendrika

My name is Mendrika.  I am 16 years old.  I like drawing.  When I draw, I feel like I am outside of the world.  All my pain and my stress disappear.  I can feel the happiness inside of me. I used to draw when I was sad. I also like watching TV, and reading books.  Since my childhood, I wanted to study in America.  Luckily, I am a member of LIME. My dream is revived.  In the future, I want to be a good diplomat or politician.
