Organic Compost Source
Community Gardeners,
Thanks to Sharon Bright’s recommendation, we now have a source of organic compost sold in bulk:
23 Winters Rd, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865
The cost is $30 per yard (and a dump truck holds about 8 yards). The only downside is that they do not deliver, so we need to find someone with a truck.

The Community Garden on TV?!
Hey all,
Two exciting things: the garden project has been covered by local TV shows twice this year!
On Monday, April 12th at 8:30PM we’ll be on channel WFMZ 69 on the Navigating your Life show. Myself, Mickey Adelman, Professor Veshosky, and Jason Seigel were interviewed for the Going Green Earth Day special.

On Earth Day, April 22nd, we’ll be on the show Tempo at 7 :30 and 11:00PM on PBS channel 39. Professor Wilson and I were interviewed and Bryan Hendrickson helped out too.

Recommendations for Organic Seed?
I know of two great seed providers:
High Mowing Seeds
I’d recommend these guys because they’re a small, friendly business.
Available online, through catalog or at Reeder Farm Store.
Seeds of Change
Reliable, certified organic seeds.
Available at Wegmans, online, catalog, and I’m sure there’s other locations too.
Any more recommendations or locations? Post them here!
