Hello! I am Narindra . I was a Malagasy LIME student before I arrived at Lafayette College in August 2019. LIME has allowed me to pursue one of my ever wanted goals of furthering my Higher Education in the United States so that I can become a Psychologist and make my home country, Madagascar, a better place to live. At Lafayette college, I am a member of Kaleidoscope Social Justice Peer Education, an Interpersonal Violence Peer Educator and a Senior Interviewer of prospective first year students. I love eating Asian food, and listening to African singer, Rema,’s songs.

Hello! My name is Maria and I had a rather unique but incredible experience on LIME. I studied abroad directly before and after our trip, so I was abroad for 6 months total in 2022. Before LIME, I studied and did research for a semester in Nepal, and after LIME, I spent 7 weeks in Kenya as a student at an anthropology field school. These experiences, in addition to LIME, have propelled me to apply for the Fulbright student grant to do further research abroad and eventually pursue graduate studies in anthropology. On campus, I currently work in Residence Life as a Head Resident, and I am busy writing my senior thesis and taking advantage of opportunities during my last year here. Please reach out to me if you have questions about anything I mentioned here!

Hello, My name is Mikias. I am a fourth-year student at Lafayette College and a Posse Scholar. I am from Addis Ababa Ethiopia, but now living in Maryland. My career aspiration is to become an International Affairs professional that works with companies to obtain a challenging position with an employer that will benefit from my experience using data analytics tools to mitigate threats to the intellectual property of corporations or United States government agencies.  In my free time, I love to travel, hang out with family, and learn and explore new cultures. The best thing about going to Madagascar for me was to meet people who are passionate about their education and who want to make a change in the world.
