Spring semester recruitment is held at the discretion of individual chapters. The number of chapters participating varies each spring.

The recruitment period lasts one week, with bids typically handed out on the first Friday of classes. Each house will have different ways for you to then accept your bid if you receive one.

Also in the spring semester, the IFC hosts a preview day open to all students interested in learning more about Fraternities. Each chapter has representatives that prospective members can meet and ask questions. This is designed to give students a better idea of what Fraternity life is like at Lafayette College. 2024 preview day was on April 29th.

The registration link will be posted this winter.  All unaffiliated, eligible male students will also be notified via email by Michael Dwyer, IFC Vice President of Recruitment. Be sure to follow the IFC Instagram for the latest updates.
