About the IFC

The seven men’s fraternities are governed by the Interfraternity Council (IFC), founded locally in 1916. Elected Council officers meet bi-weekly to discuss current issues, advocate for the community, and plan events. Every chapter has delegate representatives who guide the direction of the councils. The purpose of the IFC is to provide and maintain a community environment that fosters unity, representation, communication, and governance amongst the fraternities of Lafayette College. The IFC President is Ryan Rodriguez ’25 rodrigrw@lafayette.edu
