Formal recruitment begins on the First Day of Classes, Monday August 26th with a shared event hosted by all the chapters. The recruitment registration link will open on July 1st.

The recruitment period lasts for two weeks and bids are handed out Friday, September 13th.  Each house will have different ways for you to then accept your bid if you receive one.

In the spring semester, the IFC hosts a preview day open to all students interested in learning more about Fraternities. Each chapter has representatives that prospective members can meet and ask questions. This is designed to give students a better idea of what Fraternity life is like at Lafayette College. 2024 preview day was on April 29th.

The registration link will be posted later in the summer. All unaffiliated, eligible male students will also be notified via email by Michael Dwyer, IFC Vice President of Recruitment. Be sure to follow the IFC Instagram for the latest updates.
