Cost of Joining

First, there is no cost to rush a fraternity.  After that, the costs of joining will vary by chapter.  All members will be responsible for paying dues to their national organization as well as their local chapter and insurance costs.  Some house also require a meal plan with the house.  Those members who choose to live in the chapter house will also be responsible for that expense.

Below is a brief overview of projected dues for each chapter. While this information is just an estimate, it is updated periodically. Some chapters also offer scholarship programs, and the IFC encourages reaching out to the chapter presidents directly for this information.

For more information, contact the Finance Director of each Fraternity chapter directly or the IFC President, Bobby McClosky ’26 mccloskr@lafayette.edu
