I feel that while satire is definitely an easier way to talk about hard issues, sometimes it can come off as not being serious. This take of the problems in prison almost doesn’t completely drive home the need for change. The problem is presented, in a satirical light, but with no call to action and seemingly no way to affect any of the mistreatment happening in prisons. Overall, I think less humor would have been a positive change, and more respectful at least to ex-prisoners.
