A few years back while teaching hydrologic routing I decided that I didn’t really like any of the available software packages – either they were too primitive or too complicated and expensive for educational use. And furthermore these packages don’t handle partially full orifice flow properly (see my research with Tom Barlow), which happens all the time in the real world. So I decided to write my own – available by email request because WordPress won’t allow me to serve it up. Its free, so don’t expect a lot of technical help from me (unless you are a Lafayette student of course!) and don’t sue me if you design something that fails – but its been tested against an industry standard package VTPSUHM and gives the same answers.
