He also highlighted the Federal Reserve meeting on Thursday, November 7th, and its decision to cut rates by 25 basis points.
Eric Wang ‘26 presented a buy pitch for Intuitive Surgical (ISRG), a leading manufacturer, designer, and marketer of surgical systems and a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery. His investment thesis highlighted ISRG’s Compound Annual Growth Rate, adjusted revenue, EBITDA, and market cap. He proposed selling all shares of Biogen (BIIB) to purchase ISRG, noting that this transition would provide exposure to high-growth, technologically innovative, and stable healthcare segments with lower regulatory risk. The club decided not to sell BIIB shares and also chose not to purchase ISRG.
