The update covered major indexes and provided an economic outlook, highlighting how positive reports regarding rate cuts, CPI, GDP, and job growth have led markets to reconsider how eager the Fed will be to cut borrowing costs to support the economy.
Valdemar Kofod-Olsen ‘26 and Ally Bauer ‘27 presented a buy pitch for On Holdings. Their investment thesis highlighted the year-to-date growth, a DCF analysis, margin, and Price-Earnings Ratio. They discussed On Holding’s future plans, including global expansion, increased market share, revenue growth, and sustainability improvements. The club voted to invest in this position.
Eric Wang ‘26 presented a segment about a class action lawsuit settlement involving one of our holdings, Under Armour, and how that affects our portfolio. The lawsuit alleges that Under Armour made materially false and misleading statements through its public filings and other statements regarding demand for its products and the company’s prospects. Wang highlighted the impact on the portfolio and proposed selling the entire position. The club voted to complete the proof of claim for damages and to sell the entire position.
