Hopkins takes Princeton

Johns Hopkins beat the Princeton tigers on the road 15-9. Number 5 ranked Hopkins has an 11-13 away game winning streak over the number 9 ranked Tigers. This highly anticipated game was marked by an 8-1 run in the second half. With over 2540 fans in the Sherrerd field stands, it was a significant loss for Princeton. The win improved Hopkins record to 4-0 while the Tigers are now 2-1. Hopkins crushed 15 goals in 35 shots while Princeton outshot Hopkins 37-35 overall. Hopkins senior goalie Eric Schneider posted 13 saves.  Up next for the Tigers No.2 ranked UNC at home on Friday March 7th. Hopkins is at Mount St. Mary’s on Tuesday.
