Hottie of the Week goes out to a Senior at Brown University. Phil Pierce is a 6 foot 4 inch defensemen and captain of the Brown Bears. He is described as a man and player who “embodies the Brown state mantra.” He was the starting close defenseman for all 14 games in the 2013 season. After breaking his foot towards the end of the 2013 season he experienced a long recovery and was welcomed gratefully by his teammates after healing. Just to attest to his character and grit, Phil played out the end of his 2013 season with his broken foot bone like a true champion. So, heres to you Phil Pierce, congratulations on graduating from Brown University and walking away from their prestigious lacrosse program with the description, “Phil is Brown Lacrosse.”
