Spring has Sprung!

After a much-needed Spring Break in New York City, I (Prof. Lee) returned to the House today to find the grounds covered in crocuses and the first shoots of spring. Since this is my first year in the House, I have been eagerly looking forward to finding all the spring bulbs, especially because the historic images of the garden in College Archives show stunning spring color. Of course, between the woodchucks, the deer, and the snow forecast for Wednesday, these are probably the best pictures we will get all spring! I can’t wait for the forsythia and hydrangeas. Many thanks from all of us in the House to Bill for keeping the grounds in mint condition, and to our wonderful new day custodian Jocelyn, who has been giving the House a real spring cleaning.
