Pumpkin Carving!

No Halloween season is complete with out a bit of pumpkin carving, so the McKelvy House decided to join up with the Equestrian Team to make it happen!  To supplement the pumpkins (which were all bought from local farms) were an assortment of Halloween candy, hot chocolate, apple cider, and festive donuts.  The horse-themed and Mckelvy-themed pumpkins were either taken home for their creators to enjoy in their dorm rooms, or were set out on display in the front of the house for all to enjoy.  It definitely enhanced the festive atmosphere for all of those who attended and helped create a more personal feel to the Halloween decorations around the house.  Hopes are to expand this adventure into a future tradition!
