for winning a state title in February in extemporaneous speaking at the Pennsylvania Forensic Association’s Championship Tournament.

And past and future McKelvys teamed up for 66.6% of Lafayette’s 2012-13 William Lowell Putnam Mathematics Competition Team, coming in 37th of 578 teams! Math major Liang Zhang (McKelvy 2011-2012) scored 38 points and ranked 163rd of 4,277 students who took the exam, while Michael Pinkard (McKelvy 2013-2014) scored 10 points for 1360th place.
