3/36/22 Moravian Hosted Show

• Freshman Zoe Meyer and Sophomore Anna Paulsen got High Point Rider and Reserve High Point Rider respectively 
• Freshman Connor Port placed first in novice
• Sophomore Zubair Ali placed second in walk trot in his third time ever competing

3/27/22 Rutgers Hosted Show

• Sophomore Anabel Stein and Freshman Ashley Holland won first place (in novice and pre-novice respectively) for the first time

Lafayette had an AMAZING first show of the season at Lehigh’s hosted show at Palermo Show Stables. The team came away with high point team for the day earning 41 points overall, which put us as the top team in the region! We’re so proud of all of our riders for working tremendously hard in practice to prep for the show and for being so supportive of one another.

A special shoutout goes out to Daisy Wheeler who won both her limit flat and limit fences class and was named high point rider! Other top placings included Grace McEneaney who won her open flat class and Julie Huba who won her pre-novice class.

Congratulations to all who showed last weekend! As a team, we came in second place and had many top placings. Such a great way to end the fall semester. Special shout out to Zubair Ali who killed it at his first show. We couldn’t be more proud. 

Big congratulations to all who showed and appreciation to Alvernia University for hosting. Overall, Lafayette came in 2nd place as a team with great rounds by both our flat and over fences riders.
