This page describes changes made to the Lafayette Formula Electric Vehicle (LFEV) during the Fall 2015 semester. Consult this page before other pages, as this page describes the most recently done work.
Presentation
Below is a presentation given to the Electrical Engineering Faculty at the completion of the semester. It gives an overview of the system, and what was (and was not) accomplished durring the Fall 2015 semester.
Google Drive
This should be a VERY useful resource, if you are willing to dig a little. Most of the 2015 class used this folder to store both scratch and final work.
Software Repository
Please, use a repository for software development… Hardware can also benefit from the use of a software repository! If you need help, contact John Gehrig.
BitBucket support GIT and Mercurial, unlimited access accounts are free for students.
Software Build Environment
An encapsulated software development environment is provided for the development of embedded software on the PACMAN and AMS systems.
System Connectors
This documents describes the (few) connectors currently present within the system. This should be expanded to a complete interface control document (ICD) in the future.
KiCad Libraries
Below are the KiCad libraries used to develop all PCBs and schematics. Walter’s KiCad Libraries were used for many of the PCB footprints. These can be added manually to KiCad, or by using the new GitHub Feature.

- KiCad Libraries 2/2 (ZIP)
