This system was designed with the intent of providing a stable software and hardware development platform. It allows users to hook up the battery pack system components to lab power supplies instead of LifePO4 cells, allowing for software and hardware development and demonstrations without the risk of high current discharge.
Mechanical Drawings
This is the mechanical design of the Battery Development System (BDS). It was designed to be laser cut on two 12″ x 24″ sheets of 1/8″ acrylic. It requires the use of some small hardware and L-brackets as well.
All design work was done in Creo Parametric 3.0.
