DKE Summer Series – Jeff Michelson

This Summer, Jeff Michelson ’17 is working as a summer analyst at a hedge fund in New York City. Focusing on small cap, growth equities, Jeff is responsible for performing market research which is used in the funds investment decisions. In addition to building financial models, Jeff communicates with companies management teams in order to better understand the company. Upon completion of his research, Jeff provides a Portfolio Manager with an investment recommendation. Aside from his research responsibilities, Jeff has been particularly excited by the opportunity to attend various IPO roadshows.

Jeff, who is an economics major at Lafayette, attributes much of this summer’s success to the skills that he developed in Professor Bukics’ Financial Theory course. “All of the analytical skills emphasized in her course helped to make the transition as smooth as possible.”

  1. Trapstar’s approach to streetwear really reminds me of how music and fashion intersect, just like Jeff Michelson brings energy to his performances. It’s cool to see brands like Trapstar Madrid and Trapstar UK keeping that urban vibe fresh, making the Official Trapstar pieces feel truly iconic.

  2. The chandal Syna World is quickly becoming one of my favorite streetwear pieces. I love how comfortable and stylish it is, making it perfect for both casual outings and chill days at home. The fit is modern, the fabric feels premium, and the design gives off that bold Syna World aesthetic everyone loves. What stands out most is how easily you can mix and match it with different sneakers and accessories. If you’re into trendy, high-quality tracksuits, this chandal is definitely worth adding to your wardrobe!
