On Thursday, April 18, the Brothers of the Rho Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon hosted our annual faculty reception.
This event is one we look forward to each spring. DKE welcomed many Lafayette faculty members and administrators to the house to meet the brotherhood while enjoying food and drinks. 
Our cook, Walt, made several fine dishes including quiesh, a vegetable platter, cheese and crackers, and shrimp, while Sodexo provided an open bar. For many of the guests, it was their first time in the DKE House, so tours were given frequently throughout the reception.
Guests included professors, deans, and members of the President’s cabinet. For the brothers, it was a chance to spend time outside of the classroom with their professors and other administrators.
“It was a great pleasure for the brotherhood to get the opportunity to have more casual conversations with professors and administrators and get to know them better away from the classroom.” President Michael Kelley said.
The event was a huge success and we would like to thank all of those who took time to attend. Although far away, the brothers of DKE are already looking forward to next year’s reception in the hopes of another great event.
