Abu Rizvi is Professor of Economics at Lafayette College, where he served as provost. He has had visiting appointments at the University of Pennsylvania’s Alliance for Higher Education and Democracy (Penn AHEAD) and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He was a Georges Lurcy Research Fellow at the Brookings Institution, principal investigator of the Lehigh Valley Engaged Humanities Consortium (LVEHC) grant, board member of the Fleming Museum of Art, and a trustee of the Hugh Moore Historical Park. Abu Rizvi holds a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College and a Ph.D. in economics from the New School for Social Research.
