The Lehigh Valley Engaged Humanities Consortium is pleased to announce its upcoming workshop, entitled “Creating Successful Community Partnerships,” on March 30th, 2019.
Brittany Merriam, Curator of the Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society/Sigal Museum, alongside special guest presenters throughout the region, will share their process for success, including their trials and tribulations. In addition, there will be a two-hour working lunch/networking opportunity for guests and speakers. LVEHC encourages Lehigh Valley-area museum and library professionals, collegiate faculty, artists, performers, composers, writers, non-profit leaders, and any other potential LVEHC grant applicants or awardees to attend this workshop.
The workshop will be held Saturday, March 30th from 9am to 2pm at Oechsle Center for Global Education. There will be a working lunch from 12pm-2pm with other attendees and the speakers. We encourage workshop attendees to bring their project ideas/collaborative struggles/etc with them. Lunch will be provided. Participants who complete the workshop and submit a brief post-workshop survey are eligible for a $250 stipend.
