Abstract: Working in close coordination with the proposed Center for Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership (IDEAL Center), the project develops an entrepreneurship minor at Lafayette College. The minor is proposed for students of all majors, and will consist of six courses that convey key principles of entrepreneurship. Three of the courses are new and include Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Marketing & Finance, and Capstone: Entrepreneurship and Business Development.  Students will be required to select three additional courses from the approved list of electives in which are already taught at the college. A proposed optional “track” system was created in which allows the opportunity for students of all different disciplines to supplement their knowledge from their major with the Entrepreneurship minor. These tracks include the Commercial & Business, Scientific & Technical, and Social & Humanities. However, students need not be required to choose a track. The created website provides viewers with program and course information, as well as general entrepreneurship information including events such as Startup Weekend around the Lehigh Valley as well as at Lafayette College. The website also goes on to provide viewers with a list of professional and academic contacts to serve as resources in case studies, guest lecturers, and a possible alumni relations base.
