DKE Summer Series 2014 – David Root

Brother David Root ’15 is working for Berks Ridge Company Enterprises this summer. Berks Ridge is a general contractor in Harleysville, PA, about 40 miles south of Lafayette’s campus.

The mechanical engineering major has worked on submittal reviews, take-offs, and permitting for a $20 million senior living facility in Randolph, NJ. Root has also contributed by doing site visits with subcontractors and to oversee job site progress.

In the fall, Brother Root will act as the house resident advisor for DKE. Root will also begin his senior season as a member of the Lafayette varsity soccer team.
