“WinC has created a space that brings light to a growing interest in computer science, especially within competitive tech environments. What stands out to me is that it isn’t a space built to judge, but to encourage, to help remind people that growth comes from trying.”

“The people!!! I love that WINC introduced me to many smart, kind, and funny people. It keeps me so motivated :). Being in CS was fun, and I cherish the opportunity to share that with all those people, whether in meetings, flying to another state for a conference, or complaining about how hard the job market is :3 …. through the highs and the lows. Lots of love <3”

“I’ve been attending WINC meetings since my freshman year and haven’t stopped since. Now that I’m graduating, I credit WINC with encouraging me to stay in the major when times got tough, helping me build my professional brand through resume building and LinkedIn workshops, and securing my first job post graduation working as a Software Engineer for Walmart. If it were not for the help and support from the lovely women of WINC, I would not have had the confidence or the professional skills to advance my future career after leaving Lafayette. Thank you for everything! ”
