Hannah Daskal ’27

Hannah is a senior from Marietta, GA  studying psychology and theater. On campus, she serves as the presidents for the  Psychology Club and of Alpha Phi Omega (APO). She also works as a Resident Assistant, Writing Associate, and intern for the campus thrift store. She joined the GPA  Lab to explore how guilty pleasures can connect people while also reflecting deeply personal aspects of one’s identity. In her free time, Hannah enjoys watching TV and films, reading, and acting in theater productions.

Jamie Lin ’27

Jamie is a senior from Easton, PA studying psychology and hopefully soon adding a self-designed major on Chinese studies. On campus, she is a member of many music ensembles including Concert Choir & Chamber Singers, Concert Band, Orchestra and Pep band, and works as a peer tutor. She joined the GPA Lab because of her interest in cross-cultural psychology and her eagerness to be involved in the research process, resulting in her being an EXCEL scholar for the summer 2025 term. Understanding the differences between cultures will help her in reaching her long-term goal of helping those with minoritized identities find access to quality and culturally-sensitive healthcare. Outside of academics, Jamie enjoys trying new foods/restaurants, listening to music, and watching TV.

Eleni Mastrokalos ’27

Eleni is a senior from New Jersey studying psychology on the pre-medical track. On campus, she in involved in student research within the psychology department, an intern for the College’s IRB, and serves in the psychology Peer Mentorship program. Off campus, she volunteers and shadows at St. Luke’s Hospital and works as a medical technician at a local eye doctor. She joined the GPA lab to get involved in psychology research in order to expand her knowledge and experience within the field, resulting in her being an EXCEL scholar for the summer 2026 term.

Hanna Ganchi ’27

Hanna is a senior from Wayne, NJ studying psychology on the pre-medical track. On campus, she is a member of Lafayette’s Division I Tennis Team, serves as a Student-Athlete Peer Mentor, is an EMT, and is a member of Delta Gamma. She also serves as the social media director for Lafayette’s Division I Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams. Hanna joined the GPA Lab to gain a deeper understanding of human behavior through research. She is especially interested in applying her background in psychology and research to her future career in medicine. After graduating, Hanna hopes to attend medical school and ultimately pursue a career as a surgeon. Outside of academics, she enjoys reading romance novels, playing pickleball, and spending time with friends and family.

Yahinnely “Nelly” Mejia Molina ‘ 28

Nelly is a junior from Los Angeles, CA studying psychology with a minor in religious studies. On campus, she works as a Writing Associate for Lafayette’s College Writing Program (CWP). She joined the GPA Lab to be involved in research that directly aligns with her pursuit of a career in biopsychosocial and physiological psychology. She was also an EXCEL scholar for the summer 2026 term to assist in examining the cross-cultural differences of attitudinal ambivalence between Latin America and the U.S. Outside of academics, she enjoys dance, watching childhood shows, and going to concerts.

Juliette “JuJu” Baenziger ’28

JuJu is a junior from Brooklyn, NY studying psychology. On campus, she is the president of Lafayette’s Interdisciplinary Music Society (LIMS), a houser in Art Society, serves on the WJRH Radio Station board, and works at the Kirby Sports Center. She joined the GPA Lab to gain experience being involved in research and create a deeper hands-on understanding of psychology. Outside of academics, she enjoys listening to and creating music, spending time with friends, and getting crafty.
