Hello, beautiful people!

I am a social psychologist and assistant professor of psychology at Lafayette College [CV]. My research programs address how we behaviorally, cognitively, and affectively navigate experiencing ambivalence and internal conflict. More specifically, my recent and ongoing research involves exploring the psychology of indulging in guilty pleasures (e.g., what discrete emotions do people feel when indulging in guilty pleasures, what are our motivations for having guilty pleasures, what implications do guilty pleasures have for fostering or hindering belonging?). I am also passionate about cross-cultural psychology (in both research and teaching). To learn more about my research and teaching interests, please feel free to look around this website or e-mail me with any questions!
