Kushur Davidson ’26

Kushur is a senior from Reading, Pennsylvania studying psychology, anthropology, and sociology. On campus, Kushur is an active member of Lafayette’s African and Caribbean Student Association, serves as a resident advisor, and works as an administrative assistant for the English, Philosophy, and Religious Studies departments. She became involved in the GPA lab due to her interest in “the dynamic world of social psychology” (e.g., mixed emotions, cross-cultural psychology) and her long-term goal of pursuing a career in psychology. Outside of academics, she enjoys binge-watching reality TV shows, spending time with friends, and doing word search puzzles.

Johenny Castillo ’26

Johenny is a senior from Brooklyn, New York studying psychology. On campus, she is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, works at the Williams Center for the Arts theater and the school library, and serves as vice president of the school’s art club, LAVA. She joined the GPA Lab as an opportunity to explore research while learning about ambivalence and its role in shaping behavior. Understanding human behavior is especially meaningful to her, as it connects to her long-term goal of working in healthcare and helping others. Outside of academics, Johenny enjoys working on sculpture and art projects, expressing her creativity through sewing, and getting lost in books.

Hannah Daskal ’27

Hannah is a junior from Atlanta, Georgia studying psychology and theater. On campus, she serves on the Psychology Club board and is a member of Alpha Phi Omega and the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) club. She also works as an usher at the Williams Arts Center, is an intern for the thrift store with the Office of Sustainability, and a tour guide with Ambassadors of Lafayette. She joined the GPA Lab to explore how guilty pleasures can connect people while also reflecting deeply personal aspects of one’s identity. In her free time, Hannah enjoys watching TV and films, reading, and acting in theater productions.

Jamie Lin ’27

Jamie is a junior from Easton, PA studying psychology and hopefully soon adding a self-designed major on Chinese studies. On campus, she is a member of many music ensembles including Concert Choir & Chamber Singers, Concert Band, Orchestra and Pep band, and works as a peer tutor. She joined the GPA Lab because of her interest in cross-cultural psychology and her eagerness to be involved in the research process, resulting in her being an EXCEL scholar for the summer 2025 term. Understanding the differences between cultures will help her in reaching her long-term goal of helping those with minoritized identities find access to quality and culturally-sensitive healthcare. Outside of academics, Jamie enjoys trying new foods/restaurants, listening to music, and watching TV.

Yahinnely Mejia Molina ‘ 28

Yahinnely Mejia Molina is a sophomore from Los Angeles, California studying psychology with a minor in religious studies. On campus, she works as an America Reads elementary school tutor through the Landis Center and as a Writing Associate for Lafayette’s College Writing Program (CWP). She joined the GPA Lab to be involved in research where she can explore how complex emotions like ambivalence influence behavior—an opportunity that directly aligns with her pursuit of a career in biopsychosocial and physiological research. Outside of academics, she enjoys going to concerts and dancing.
