MAFia hosts a varity of music themed events for both general body and floor members throughout the year, including
Music Movie of the Month: Also known as MMOM, we vote on one music related movie to watch each month at our general body meeting.
Album of the Week: Every Sunday at 3pm, we gather in the MAFia common room to listen to and discuss one members album of choice, then we choose next week’s album master.
Lip Sync Competition: MAFia hosts an annual Lip Sync and Air Band Competition each fall in the atrium of Farinon for the entire school to enjoy. Participants show off their lip syncing skills for 3 judge professors, with live audience voting and prizes for winners.
Laf’s Got Talent: Each spring, MAFia has a Talent Show to feature the wide variety of incredible and unique skills Lafayette students possess. Previous acts have ranged from piano solos to stand up comedy to chugging a gallon of milk while riding a unicycle.
