Welcome to the Music Appreciation Floor (is awesome)!
The Lafayette Music Appreciation Floor (is awesome), also known as MAFia, is a a club and special interest housing option on the third floor of Ramer Hall. We are dedicated to appreciating music and sharing that appreciation with the rest of the Lafayette campus community. Anyone can join, no performance or musical talent required.
We sponsor various events on campus, such as our Annual Lip-Sync Competition, Laf’s got Talent, an Album of the Week and a Music Movie of the Month. We also arrange group activities for floor members such as apple picking and a murder mystery night. We are also home to the coolest and best decorated common room on campus, where you will frequently see floor members relaxing, studying, or appreciating some sweet tunes.
