On October 7th, from 12:15 to 1:00 pm, several Lafayette faculty will give short talks on the current situation with ISIS in an ISA-sponsored brown bag.
Professor Il Hyun Cho (Lafayette College, Department of Government and Law) will speak about the global response to the ISIS threat.
Professor Joel Shelton (Lafayette College, Department of Government and Law) will cover the emergence of the organization and the political economy of ISIS, with an emphasis on the sources of funding for their activities.
Professor Youshaa Patel (Lafayette College, Department of Religious Studies) will give a talk titled “The Black Standards of ISIS.”
