In addition to our religious and social action programming, Hillel is also a place for students to have fun, create relationships, and deepen their Jewish identity. Throughout the year, we offer a range of activities meant to foster Jewish joy and support continued exploration and self-discovery.

Tri-Hillel Events

When possible, Lafayette Hillel loves to get together with Lehigh and Muhlenberg Hillels for fun-filled tri-Hillel events. This is an awesome opportunity for bonding and collaboration with other students in the Lehigh Valley. Past events include Havdalah, game nights, ice skating, craft nights, and many more.

Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF)

When offered, students can choose to participate in JLF–a ten-week deep dive into topics that they likely encounter every day. JLF is a chance for students to learn together in a small-group format about what Judaism can teach about life’s big questions, relationships, and identity.

Drop-in Learning and Prayer Series

Beginning Fall 2025, we are excited to be offering  drop-in learning and prayer opportunities during the semester! With no long-term commitment required, this is the perfect opportunity to try something new, participate without stressing your schedule, and choose topics you’re passionate about. To find out when these drop-in spaces happen, make sure to check out the Lafayette Hillel calendar regularly and contact our Communications Team to get on the Hillel email list!

Interfaith Council

Hillel is a proud member of the Lafayette Interfaith Council. With other religious and spiritual life groups on campus, we help create open spaces for dialogue and connection.
