Compute to Learn (C2L)

Compute to Learn (C2L) pedagogy is a project-based learning experience in which students work within collaborative groups to code a Mathematica demonstration of physical chemistry (or other course) topics. The demonstrations are then published on the Wolfram Demonstrations Project.

At Lafayette, we are using C2L to develop demonstrations for general and physical chemistry courses. Check out the demonstrations created by Lafayette students here.

Collaborations:
Prof. Hendrickson contributed to the development of C2L at the University of Michigan while working towards her M.Sc. in Educational Studies. C2L is currently implemented at the University of Michigan in multiple chemistry courses.

Workshops:
Compute-to-Learn Workshop 2018 took place on November, 2, 2018 at Lafayette College. More information about the workshop and workshop materials is available here!
