Today the Holi Festival prioritizes bridging social differences by lowering boundaries of class, religion, gender and age. Holi celebrates the beginning of spring and the natural color that comes with the season. The main highlight of the celebration is when people throw colorful powder and water at each other in a festival like environment that includes music and dancing. Grossman House organizes an annual Holi event that replicates this in front of the  house for the entire campus.
