Serve

Help both the environment and the local community by volunteering for a shift during this year’s Green Move Out! Lafayette students, faculty and staff and families are all welcome to participate!

Student Volunteer Opportunities

Sorting at the truck– these shifts involve sorting the items that students bring to the truck locations throughout finals week. This volunteer opportunity involves some lifting of items and stepping in and out of the truck.

Off-campus box drop-off– these shifts involve placing Green Move Out boxes on the porches of the college-owned off-campus houses. This volunteer opportunity involves walking around off campus.

Faculty and Staff Volunteer Opportunities

Finals week- these shifts may include driving the box truck to various residence halls on campus, sorting items on the truck, and the delivery of items to local Easton organizations.

Sunday after commencement- these shifts may include driving the box truck to various college owned residences off campus to pick up donated items, taking donated items from collection boxes in the halls to the truck, keeping the truck organized and delivery of items to local Easton organizations.

*THIS DAY OF VOLUNTEERING IS ALSO A GREAT TIME TO BRING YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS TO HELP.  WE ENCOURAGE SIGNIFICANT OTHERS, CHILDREN, FAMILY AND ALL LAFAYETTE AND COLLEGE HILL COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO JOIN US!

After commencement- shifts include organizing donations and delivering to local Easton organizations.
