Specific Project Requirements

The FARMSENSE proposal states that the system should function as an integrated central platform providing telemetry, automated irrigation, climate regulation, and security/health logging across Lafarm’s production units. The integration should include:

A. soil and environmental variables monitored and needed by each subsystem (e.g., soil temperature and moisture, air temperature and humidity),
B. status of each subsystem (e.g., power supply level, network status, sensor/actuator status), and
C. centralized control and estimation of crop production related variables (e.g., instantaneous/cumulative light intensity, heater power, water flow rate, and air flow rate).
