OUR TEAM
The team consists of nine senior students majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and three in Integrative Engineering: Hunter Angst, Angela Busheska, William Cassidy, Lindsey Huppin, Seyha Khom, Robbie Leslie, Alex Ojeda, Renee Pascoe, Owen Pazera, Laxman Poudel, Eren Tekbas, and Nam Vu.
Renee Pascoe
Renee (she/her) is a senior at Lafayette studying Integrative Engineering with a Bioengineering focus. She serves as the president of Delta Gamma and is a member of SWE (Society of Women Engineers), NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers), the Engineering Peer Mentor Program, and an engineering tour guide. After graduation, Renee will be working as a postgraduate researcher at Yale University studying RNA modifications in the context of cancer biology, with plans to apply to MD/PhD programs.
Lindsey Huppin
Lindsey (she/her) is a senior majoring in Integrative Engineering with a bioengineering focus and a minor in ECE. She serves as the captain of the Lafayette College Cheerleading Team and as the VP of Communications for the Lafayette Hillel Society. She is also a member of SWE (Society of Women Engineers) and the Engineering Peer Mentor Program. Next year, she plans on starting her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering.
Robbie Leslie
Robbie (he/him) is a senior at Lafayette studying Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a thesis on ARM vs. RISC-V. He is the lead embedded engineer at a student startup called SpaceOna, a member of Delta Tau Delta, IEEE Class of 2025 Representative, and an MSG leader for CS 105. He enjoys hiking and camping in his free time, which he sometimes does with the Lafayette Outdoor Society. After graduating, he plans to go to graduate school to earn a degree in computer architecture.
Angela Busheska
Angela Busheska (she/her) is pursuing a dual degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics.
On campus, she is pursuing a thesis to help farmers optimize their crop yield, is a member of the Women in Computing Club, and is an SI Leader for Physics 133. Outside of campus, she is a climate activist working to debunk fast fashion.
Nam Vu
Nam Vu (he/him) is pursuing a dual degree in Mathematics and Electrical & Computer Engineering, with a minor in Chemistry. On campus, he is a Creative and Performing Arts (CaPA) scholar, Vice President for Eta Kappa Nu, and currently pursuing a thesis to advance electronic noses in coffee bean classification. He is also a current visiting undergraduate researcher at Yale University to develop quantum computing algorithms for computationally taxing chemistry problems.
Laxman Poudel
Laxman Poudel (he/him) is a senior at Lafayette College, studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is involved in the International Student Association, Lafayette Outdoor Society, and Engineers Without Borders clubs on campus. In his spare time, he loves hiking and biking. After graduating, he plans to pursue a professional career as an engineer.
Hunter Angst
Hunter is a senior at Lafayette College majoring in Integrative Engineering: Robotics Focused and Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is a member of the TaeKwonDo club, and during his free time, he enjoys resting, studying more about robotics, or playing the violin. After graduation, he plans to go to grad school to get a master’s degree in electrical engineering and Robotics.
William Cassady
Alex Ojeda
Alex is a senior at Lafayette College majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Art. On campus, he is a member of SHPE(Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) and the Lafayette Outdoor Society. After graduation he plans to start his own clothing and art business or pursue a job in the industry.
Seyha Khom
Seyha (he/him) is a senior at Lafayette studying Electrical and Computer Engineering(ECE) and minoring in Architectural Studies. He is involved in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(IEEE), one of the founding members of the Men’s Volleyball team, and a member of Delta Tau Delta. In his free time, he enjoys reading books and exercising which he does with the soccer club, the frisbee club, and the volleyball team. After graduation, he plans to pursue a professional career as an engineer.
