Welcome!
I am an associate professor in the Department of Government & Law at Lafayette College. I’m also an affiliate of the Center for Effective Lawmaking and the founder of a non-partisan social science research group: the Lafayette College Gov Lab.
My current research primarily focuses on policy experiments (i.e., RCTs) conducted with the support of U.S. governments. This project seeks to better understand the politics of evidence within local governments and reconsiders key mechanisms of policy diffusion throughout the laboratories of American democracy.
I teach several courses on American gov. and quantitative methods.
Note: I am on sabbatical during AY2026-2027, and I will be in London in Fall 2027.
