Welcome!

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Government & Law at Lafayette College and an affiliate of the Center for Effective Lawmaking.

My primary research is on American political institutions, with an emphasis on legislative affairs. Most of my work explores the impact of American party factions in the U.S. House, but I also have a number of ongoing co-authored projects (see C.V.). I teach courses on the U.S. government, quantitative methods, and American politics.
