Lafayette offers opportunities for choral singing to every member of the College community. The Concert Choir and Chamber Singers perform two concerts in each academic semester, a Winter Concert in December and a Spring Concert in May. These concerts have featured a wide range of musical styles, pieces in different languages, and the premiere of major works commissioned for these groups.
In addition to these performances, the choirs have had the opportunity to sing at other campus events such as the Homecoming football game, a Family Weekend Student Performance Showcase, the annual Staff Luncheon, and the college’s 2019 Holiday Party in New York City. Members of the choir have also had the opportunity to travel on performance tours to Portugal, Italy, and Costa Rica in recent years.
