ASME Executive Board Positions

 

Chair  – Chris Bettner (Junior ME)

Responsibilities: The president of the section, ultimately responsible for all aspects of ASME events and projects.

Requirements: Sophomore to or junior standing, previous heavy involvement, nominated by outgoing executive board.

 

Vice-Chair – Jack Cobourn (Sophomore ME)

Responsibilities: takes the place of the chair of he/she cannot attend a meeting for function.

Requirements: Sophomore to or junior standing, previous heavy involvement, nominated by outgoing executive board.

 

Events Chair – Dan McLaughlin (Junior ME)

Responsibilities: Responsible for planning events and talks

Requirements: Sophomore to or junior standing, good attendance record.

 

Strato-SAT Mission Leader – Jack Cobourn (Sophomore ME)

Responsibilities: Ultimately responsible for all aspects of Strato-SAT program, maintains specific control over safety and budget.

Requirements: Sophomore to or junior standing, previous heavy involvement with the Strato-SAT program.

 

Motion Capture Project Leader – Ingrid Rumbaugh (Sophomore ME)

Responsibilities: Ultimately responsible for all aspects of the Motion Capture Project program, maintains specific control over safety and budget.

Requirements: Sophomore to or junior standing, previous heavy involvement with the Motion Capture Project.

 

Secretary – Frank Besson (Sophomore ME)

Responsibilities: Maintains meeting records, archives emails and compiles all board members annual records at the end of a term.

Requirements: Sophomore to or junior standing, good attendance record.

 

Webmaster – Greg Flynn (Junior ECE)

Responsibilities: To maintain the website and Facebook accounts and keep events posted on each.

Requirements: none
